Who We Are
Widdershins Health was born out of a desire to give patients an evidence-based, low-risk way to actively participate in their treatment and care. Our approach encourages you to pause, rewind and reset:
to pause - for a moment and consider if your innate inner potential has been fully optimised in your current treatment plan
to rewind - and evoke that boost to our well-being that we experience when we have taken back an element of control over our health and wellbeing
to reset - by taking positive steps to empower self-investment in ones’ health and wellbeing
Emma Campbell is the founder of Widdershins Health. She is an experienced Registered General Nurse and a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society. The main focus of Emma’s nursing career has been in muscular skeletal rehabilitation, and then neurological rehabilitation where she was a Lead Nurse and enjoyed supporting and empowering patients to meet and exceed their rehabilitation goals.
Emma has now moved away from the inpatient setting, to work part time supporting patients’ rehabilitation in their own homes, as an NHS Stroke Nurse Specialist.
Committed to life-long learning, Emma is completing her Neurological Rehabilitation and Care PgCert at the University of Edinburgh, and the Certificate of Medical Acupuncture at the British Medical Acupuncture Society in London.
When not working or studying, Emma can usually be found outdoors.
